I have always been fascinated by the colors and dynamics of birds’ flights.
Some time ago, while testing to shoot colored paint collisions, I had an insight that changed my photography.
The splashes of collisions of yellow paint against portions of blue paint revealed the transition to a third color, green. The subtleties of that high-speed effect immediately connected me with the nuances of the birds’ plumage. Furthermore, the dynamics of those images seemed to me to be caused by the rustling of a bird bathing in puddles of colored paint.
On that day, the project “Endangered Beauties” was born, combining a photographic technique with a way of honoring the charm of nature.
