Challenge, I guess, is what has driven my passion for photography for nearly fifty years of practice, almost half of it in NYC Manhattan Photo District.

Since I was a child, following the footsteps of my father’s ingenious gadget making, I got obsessed with problem-solving.

Along with my career as a photographer, I got fascinated with high-speed photography, mainly in respect of fluid dynamics and its natural chaos. Currently, in the coziness of my customized studio and recent digital photography, I am having a great time applying modern technology in the pursuit of new solutions for comps and ideas.

When planning for an elegant splash, my main concern is to control the behavior of the flux of liquids into its fresh and natural beauty, creating images that are at the same time dynamic and unique with minimal post-production.

I have been privileged and rewarded along all these years to have attended many agencies and clients such as: DDB, Euro RSCG, JWT, Leo Burnett, NBS, Grey, Ogilvy, Mccann, Publicis, Saatchi & Saatchi, Young & Rubicam, etc.

Coca-Cola, McDonald, Nestlé, Ambev, Bank Boston, General Motors, Suvinil, Scientific American, etc.

Today, surprisingly, after so many years of mastering high-speed techniques, I casually discovered a form to photograph, in an unusual way, collisions of different portions of paint launched into the air, in such a way that the result inspired a new essay: Endangered Beauties.

Being able to use my professional life-time experience in favor of a project about nature will fill me with joy for the rest of my existence.

Desafio, eu acho, foi o que impulsionou minha paixão pela fotografia por quase cinquenta anos de prática, cerca da metade no Distrito da Fotografia de Manhattan em Nova York.

Filho de um exímio artesão, desde criança admirei a engenhosidade de meu pai em suas invenções e criações de quebra-cabeças, e tornei-me um entusiasta por soluções de problemas.

Em minha trajetória como fotógrafo me vi fascinado pela fotografia de alta velocidade, sobretudo no que se refere à dinâmica de fluidos e seu caos natural.

Hoje, no conforto de um estúdio customizado e dos modernos recursos da fotografia digital, venho unindo a habilidade artesanal à tecnologia em busca de soluções para novos leiautes e ideias.

Minha preocupação primordial na busca de um splash esteticamente convincente é controlar o comportamento do fluxo de líquidos em seu aspecto refrescante e natural, criando imagens que são ao mesmo tempo dinâmicas e únicas com o mínimo de pósprodução.

Sinto-me feliz pelo privilégio em poder atender, por todos estes anos, agências e clientes tais como:

Hoje, surpreendentemente, depois de tantos anos dominando técnicas de alta velocidade, casualmente, descobri uma maneira de fotografar, de forma inusitada, colisões de diferentes porções de tinta lançadas ao ar, de tal forma que o resultado inspirou um ensaio inédito: Beleza Ameaçada.

Ser capaz de usar minha experiência profissional de toda a vida em favor de um projeto relativo à natureza, seguramente vai me encher de alegria pelo resto da minha existência.
